Perhaps I should have called this blog The Leatherman:  it is meant to be something of a multi-purpose tool.  Its first conception was as an object of web-tech study and experimentation—I’ll be poking around under WordPress’s hood—since I am an aspiring web developer. But we’ll see if that central purpose holds.  I was an English major, you know, so naturally I get the urge to publish wordy things of my own device.  On top of all that I hope the links and tags and pingbacks and social media widjemacallits on the blog will help raise the profile of my various concerns on the World Wide Web—the band, the wife’s company, various sites I’ve designed for her or for others, and anything else that I feel deserves promotion.  I admit it:  shameless propaganda has a little place here.

Doubtlessly I will change this About blurb now and again.   You should come back and visit frequently, like, to check, y’know?  ’Cause you wouldn’t want to miss a beat.  I’m a drummer, and I hate it when that happens.
